Strategic planning

Combined as a team, the staff at SWR have over thirty years of experience as strategic planners, facilitating and leading the important conversations for groups to direct their work. Rox has extensive experience with strategic planning from her time at Urban Peak, Chief of Staff, and CEO of Nurse-Family Partnership – which included over 300 affiliates in 42 States. With 25 years of executive leadership expertise as the CEO of local, statewide, and national nonprofits, as a Cabinet Secretary, and as Chief of Staff to a mayor and a governor, Rox is an experienced leader and strategic planner.

SWR has experience in strategic planning and feasibility studies, including facilitating the creation of the Former Foster Youth Recommendations for the Colorado Department of Human Services, leading the Colorado Media Project with the creation of their strategic plan, and working with Mesa County in the creation of their Child Care 8,000 Business Plan.

The SWR team also has extensive experience in public and internal input processes from our Donalyn, and in survey design, facilitation, and focus groups from Sabrina. The team is additionally supported in this work by Yvonne who provides expert business guidance, intensive research, and Spanish language support.

Sabrina was integral in the development of our strategic plan to create a brand new business process model for our service delivery. Sabrina facilitated scores of staff involving a myriad of programs in our effort to create a single strategic plan to address the needs of hundreds of thousands of families in the Denver Metro area. Staff participation and morale were energized by Sabrina’s approach to this initiative, and we are very thankful to have had the pleasure of working with her.
